Founder, M'Bwebe Ishangi started putting his thoughts on paper and submitted to several major national "Black" publicationz. The negative response he received inspired him to develop a newsletter, Ghetto Tymz. The first issue was 5 pages on green paper with one staple in the upper left corner. The next 7 issues were in different colorz.

Da Ghetto Tymz magazine debuts as a national publication, called 'DGT' for short. With the help of Tai Griffin (& Kinko's), 1000 copies are sold in first month, creating immediate street buzz. Next issue DGT beginz accepting subscriberz.

The first section, 'Deja Vu', is a short biographical of his experience with spiritual encounterz in the dayz before he was a writer, which led to the (re)connection with Afrikan consciousness and the birth of DGT. The second part of 'Analitikul' is a compilation of articles written by M'Bwebe from 1993-2006.
